International Schools Award
Caroline Bradburn

We are proud to announce that Southam College has been accredited with the prestigious 'International Schools Award'. Southam College has been busy incorporating aspects of multiculturalism within schemes of work across all curriculum areas, including cross-curricular activities on theme days such as 'Chinese New Year', 'International Day of Languages' and 'World Kindness Day' etc.

The school has worked hard to provide a range of memorable experiences and visits that embrace the diverse world around us for example: Iceland, Lithuania, Germany, Barcelona, France, New York, Ghana and the Battlefields in France & Belgium. Southam College is committed to learning more about global issues, celebrating the rich and diverse heritage represented in communities throughout the globe, respecting and valuing different cultures & beliefs and enjoying contact with international individuals. On hearing the news that Southam College had received the award, Simone French and Rachel Green (International Schools Co-coordinators) said: "We knew that it would be ambitious to aim for this award, but we are so pleased that all students and staff have pulled together to make the accreditation possible. We look forward to even more exciting international projects in the future!"
