Bilton School celebrated another fantastic set of GCSE results this year
Bilton School celebrated another fantastic set of GCSE results this year with almost universal improvements across the board compared to the last time that exams were sat in 2019. There was a significant improvement of 10% for those students gaining a grade 5 and above in both Maths and English as well as the school's best outcomes in the % of students attaining the top, 9-7 grades.
Headteacher Tim Chambers commented 'We are really proud that our Year 11 students have achieved so well this summer, in spite of the incredible challenges that they experienced during the past 18 months of their education. We are so pleased to be able to send our students onto the next stage of their journey knowing that everyone has worked so hard to gain their achievements. Lots of our students produced excellent results, and importantly met their personal learning goals. Some stand out individual performances included:
Mya Virk 5 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and 1 Distinction*, Gurleen Singh Kaur 3 grade 9s, and 5 grade 8s, Magaile Skutalaite 4 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s, and 1 grade 7, Abinaja Baskaran 3 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s, and 1 Distinction*, Diogo Jaffery Aceves 4 grade 9s, 4 grade 7s, and 1 Distinction*.
Bilton School's learning community and the Stowe Valley Multi-Academy Trust continue along their path of sustained improvement. Well done to all our students and staff for their fantastic dedication, as well as the unwavering support from parents!'.
