Bilton School welcomed Samantha from Cancer Research UK to attend their assembly to receive a cheque for £5160.13 raised by pupils and staff from the Race For Life completed in the summer term.
Ruby in Yr.8 presented the cheque after her winning entry for the pupils participation certificate. Samantha spoke and explained what this huge sum of money can do to support people fighting cancer.
We look forward to making the Race For Life and annual event at Bilton School raising many more thousands of pounds in the future.
