Kineton High School wishes to congratulate its wonderful Year 13 students for their results this year.
They are incredibly well deserved, given the significant challenges they faced over the two years of study. The determination, resilience and independence that these experiences have necessitated will no doubt stand them in good stead for their next stage of life.
The results this year are record breaking for the school and reflect the increased aspiration and focussed culture in the Sixth Form. We are delighted that over 90% of students have secured places at Universities of their choice in a variety of course types including Forensic Science, Creative Writing, English Literature, Anthropology, Fashion Communication, Computer Science and Maths; in addition a number of students have secured higher level apprenticeships in a number of specialist fields. Staff at the school wish all students the very best of luck on their future journeys and also congratulate Noah and Ursula on securing their places at Oxford University to read English Literature having both gained A*, A* and Distinction * in their respective courses; the first Oxbridge places for the school in 7 years.
There were many outstanding sets of results for the students notably;
E Briggs 4x A*; J Jenkins 3x A*; E Dyson A*AA; N Whelan A*AA; B Rivers-Nutt A*AA; L Ward A*AA; J Simpkin A A Dist; J Godfrey 3x A
